====== The Asset Management Story ======

This is Talking Infrastructure's space for Asset Management history, to capture where we have come from as a practice since its origins in 1980s South Australia. It's a fascinating tale, and it also helps illuminate where we need to go next.

We are also republishing the best of Penny's newsletter Strategic Asset Management, which she published biweekly from 1998, following on from her Asset Management Quarterly International. [[SAM Archive:From the SAM Archives]]

Our history is a collective effort: if you were there, contact us to tell your story. We are currently compiling Volume 2, from 1994 to 2003 - the eve of the publication of the first AM standard BSI PAS-55 - focusing on the action in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
